Weekly Events Offered

Saturday competitions involve 4 to 5 events each week and cover a variety of events through a rotating weekly program cycle. During each program cycle, athletes will have the following events offered to compete in.

U6 and U7

  • Track: 50m, 70m, 100m, 200m, 300m, 60m mini hurdles
  • Throws: Shot Put, Discus, Vortex
  • Jumps: Long jump
  • Agility skills activity

U8

  • Track: 50m, 70m, 100m, 200m, 300m, 60m mini hurdles
  • Throws: Shot Put, Discus, Vortex
  • Jumps: Long jump, High Jump scissors
  • Agility skills activity

U9

  • Track: 70m, 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 60m hurdles
  • Throws: Shot Put, Discus, Turbo Javelin
  • Jumps: Long jump, High Jump (scissors)
  • Agility skills activity

U10

  • Track: 70m, 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 60m hurdles
  • Throws: Shot Put, Discus, Turbo Javelin
  • Jumps: Long jump, High Jump (scissors)
  • Agility skills activity

U11

  • Track: 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m*, 80m hurdles
  • Throws: Shot Put, Discus, Javelin
  • Jumps: Long jump, High Jump, Triple Jump

U12

  • Track: 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m*, 80m hurdles
  • Throws: Shot Put, Discus, Javelin
  • Jumps: Long jump, High Jump, Triple Jump

U13-U17

  • Track: 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m*, 80m hurdles
  • Throws: Shot Put, Discus, Javelin, Hammer
  • Jumps: Long jump, High Jump, Triple Jump

*1500m will be offered as an additional optional event prior to competition start time on selected weeks. This event is only available to athletes in the age-groups of U11 and above.
