Cooma Athletics holds weekly competitions throughout the athletics season where our athletes get an opportunity to compete in a variety of different events at a local level. Being affiliated with the ACT Little Athletics Association, our athletes are also welcome to compete in a number of cross-club meets throughout the season. Some of these events include Invitational Carnivals at other Clubs, the annual ACTLAA Multi-Event Carnival, the ACT Relays Carnival, ACTLAA State Championships and also the Australian Little Athletics Championships (ALAC which is held for U13 & U15 age groups).
Athletes in the U12 and over age groups are also able to register as ‘dual-athletes’ in order to also compete in the open age group competitions held in Canberra.

- U6 – U8 Teams Challenge: Sunday 13 February 2022
- U14 – U18 State Championships: Friday 18th- Sunday 20th February 2022 (Woden Athletic Track)
- U9 – U13 State Championships Saturday March 11th – Sunday March 13th 2021: (Woden Athletic Track)
ALAC (Australian Little Athletics Championships): U13 and U15 only. Selection in the ACT team based on performances at the State Championships. Athletes need to submit their interest in being selected through the application process.
